Available Positions
Operate automated and manual cutting equipment to measure, cut, and prepare carpet materials to exact customer specifications — playing a key role in getting every order right, on time, and ready for installation or delivery.
What You'll Do
- Operate carpet cutting machines safely and accurately
- Read work orders and cutting tickets to cut carpet to precise specs
- Inspect materials for defects and verify style, color, width, and quantity
- Label and stage completed orders for installers, drivers, or pickup
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and a clean, organized cutting area
- Support general warehouse operations, including loading and stocking
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Warehouse or flooring industry experience a plus
- Experience with carpet cutting equipment preferred — training provided
- Forklift certification a plus
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills (fractions/measurements)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written instructions
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (with assistance as needed), stand/walk for extended periods, and perform bending, kneeling, and reaching tasks in a warehouse environment.
You'll receive and inspect incoming shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, support warehouse operations, and ensure materials are organized and ready for installation or delivery.
What You'll Do
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Verify materials, receive inventory into our system, and assign stock locations
- Pull orders, print tags, and stage materials for installers and deliveries
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Help prevent inventory loss by following established warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Operate a forklift (training and certification provided)
- Assist with warehouse projects, deliveries, and other duties as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. (with assistance as needed), stand for extended periods, and perform frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching in a warehouse environment.

In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, assisting with installation questions, scheduling, service requests, and problem resolution. You'll work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure every customer receives the outstanding service McSwain has been known for since 1968.

Are you organized, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional service? McSwain Carpets & Floors is looking for a Sales Assistant / Inside Sales Representative to support our Builder Division. In this role, you'll work closely with our builder sales team and clients to ensure projects move seamlessly from quote to installation.
What You'll Do
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
- Coordinate orders and communicate project updates with builder clients
- Support the sales team with pricing, follow-up, and order management
- Work closely with operations, installation, and billing teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Track projects, maintain accurate records, and provide outstanding customer service throughout the process
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, or sales support experience
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience is a plus
- Flooring, construction, or homebuilding experience is preferred but not required
Are you dependable, hardworking, and enjoy staying active? McSwain Carpets & Floors is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Sharonville headquarters. In this role, you'll help keep our warehouse running efficiently by preparing materials, assisting with deliveries, and supporting daily operations.
What You'll Do
- Receive, organize, and prepare flooring materials for delivery and installation
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Assist with deliveries and pickups using company vehicles (no CDL required)
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
What We're Looking For
- Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
- Forklift experience is a plus (in-house training and certification available)
- Ability to lift 60–80 pounds
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment or conveyor systems is a plus
