We are seeking career-minded Professional Flooring Consulants for our Cincinnati and Dayton area showrooms. The ideal candidate will help our customers make the right floorcovering choices to meet their lifestyles. Our commitment to provide you with ongoing training will allow you to enjoy a reputation as a leading professional in this industry.
What You Must Bring:
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationships easily and work effectively with customers and internal operations support departments
- A commitment to exceeding the customer service expectations of every McSwain Retail customer
- An ability to manage multiple activities in an efficient and accurate manner
- A dedication to personal and business integrity and honesty
Position Requirements:
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Excellent selling initiative and drive; ability to service multiple accounts and various types of customers
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Adequate knowledge of computer software and technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mobile devices)
- Ability to handle multiple activities and respond with urgency as required
- Ability to work with customers in a calm, efficient manner
- Ability to assess and capitalize on opportunities in the marketplace

RETAIL CARPET INSTALLATION MANAGER
McSwain Carpets and Floors Retail Division is taking steps to continue to be the consumers’ first choice as the Tri-State flooring provider. To support that direction, we need leadership who is not only responsible for making sure we meet the industry standard yet also influential in identifying and testing changing products and installation methods. Through industry education and past personal experience in the flooring industry the Retail Carpet Installation Manager will become an integral part of the leadership team. The Retail Carpet Installation Manager should strive to create stability within our installation portion of the business by ensuring the standards are met, and the crews continue to hone their abilities. Role Specifics:
- Mastery of Measure Mobile program and ability to perform in home measurements and put together documentation including pictures and notesfrom conversation with the homeowner.
- Continued recruitment of installers
- Successful integration with the Retail Management Team and all Sales Associates at the 10 showrooms
- A company supplied van will be provided to support our installation force.
